Your Role and Responsibilities
Crypto Express Adapter on z Systems allows companies to protect data and workloads from physical and logical attacks through cryptography. Cryptography is crucial for secure processing when applications must communicate with distributed elements or assess the validity of the data being processed.
Candidate will be part of world class high-performance hardware security module (HSM) firmware team. The responsibility of the firmware team is to provide top-level security for processing and high-speed cryptographic offload.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of DMA communications with multiple peripherals, HW / FW optimization Unit Test design


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
As Individual Developer
  • 6+ years of relevant Industry experience
  • Very strong in C and data structures, preferably in developing multi-core or multi-threaded applications.
  • Deep knowledge of Linux kernel internals (process scheduler, memory management, concurrency/synchronization, memory allocation, file systems) and profiling
  • Experience in device driver development and support for NIC, HBA or Graphics cards
  • Strong debugging skills in kernel context
  • Experience with exercising/validation of system from user space, and knowledge of user space API


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Experience with SSl/TLS , Crypto Concepts
