Job Title: QA/BA - Associate

Role Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled QA Test Automation Engineer with exposure to Business/Functional Analysis with proven track record of managing functional delivery of software applications to join our Technology team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated and manual tests to ensure application quality and accuracy, while also identifying issues and resolving defects. In this role you will be responsible for front-to-back Quality Assurance of the product/deliverables. You are expected to work independently, requiring minimal guidance  .
• DLT is a key part of Deutsche Bank's Investment Bank franchise. DLT Technology team is a global team with resources in the UK, US, Germany, Bukarest and India. You will be part of Deal Life Cycle Technology team in Pune. We support Trade Booking, Funding, Sending details to post trade system and Distribution of rates.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and develop automation scripts to test web applications and API endpoints using test automation frameworks.
• Design and develop manual test cases to test web applications and API endpoints.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to identify and prioritize test cases for automation.
• Execute automated tests, analyze, and report results, and work with the team to resolve defects.
• Participate in the review and improvement of test processes and methodologies and provide recommendations for automation and tooling improvements.
• Keep up to date with new testing tools, techniques, and technologies to improve overall testing quality.
• Experience in a Banking domain and/or related support functions including understanding of products, business, and operational processes, with exposure to business analysis will be preferred. Particularly Money Market, FX, Derivatives, Trade Life Cycle.
• Writing clear user requirements based on business needs.
• Good analytical and problem-solving experience.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, attend daily stand-up meetings, provide feedback, and contribute to sprint retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance: UI and API test automation.
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Postman, Newman, or equivalent.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with CICD tools like TeamCity, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong desire to learn and stay up to date with new technologies and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive User Stories, Use Cases and test cases.

Preferred

• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Experience in gathering Business requirements and Functional Requirements would be a Plus
