The Laboratory Materials Management & Transport team leads import, export, permit, & reagent management operations at multiple geographical Vaccines sites globally. Our mission is to centrally manage purchasing, and maintain inventories of reagents for specific projects, as well as coordinate permits, shipments, & transportation of critical and non-critical reagents.

Join our Laboratory Materials Management & Transport team as Deputy Director and you’ll help us improve the quality, agility and efficiency of Vaccines operations to bring vaccines to market. 

This is a US based, in-office position. The ideal candidate will live within a reasonable commuting distance to Sanofi's Orlando, FL location.

  • Coordinates all laboratory reagents, test articles, & critical laboratory materials activities supporting the Orlando VaxDesign Vaccines R&D Site
  • Manages reagent inventory, including procurement, receipt, distribution, planning, contracting, invoicing, payments and general troubleshooting according to vaccine team needs
  • Supports vaccine R&D Shipments needs, offering an end-to-end service to scientists and technical staff to reduce processing times and increase efficiencies
  • Identifies needs, applies for permits and other necessary documents, and ensures accurate and detailed record keeping into shipping planners & related tools
  • Ensures adherence to all quality, corporate, safety, and regulatory requirements, ensuring that the program is in an audit ready state at all times

About You:

  • Earned Bachelor’s degree or better in supply chain/logistics (preferred) or related area
  • Ability to develop and implement new technologies & efficiencies as they apply to permits, shipments, & reagents
  • Proven knowledge and skills in developing and maintaining inventory management plans as well as demonstrable experience managing laboratory inventories
  • Experience in Import/Export trade compliance requirements & documentation processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders
