Experience Required
• Automation specialist working with Terraform and Ansible or other tools for automating environment and individual VM builds.
• Utilize Terraform and Ansible, or other approved tools, to automate the provisioning and configuration of environments and individual VMs.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to ensure repeatable and consistent deployments.
• Manage Terraform and Ansible scripts and configurations within Azure DevOps, ensuring seamless integration and version control.
• Document all automation processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Generate and deliver regular reports on automation performance and issues to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for improving automation processes and tools.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Support development team with the implementation and maintenance of environments within Azure
• Ensure accurate controls are in place and implemented on implementation and there is an ability to maintain these controls going forward in accordance with Cloud Security Standards.
• Collaborate with customer's team members to identify and resolve issues and discrepancies
• Build complete landscape copies to support development, testing, and QA requirements.
• Ensure these copies are accurate and meet the needs of the respective teams.
• Collaborate with Development team to ensure a smooth handoff and ongoing management of these automation tools.
• Proactively monitor automated processes and promptly address any issues that arise.
• Work with relevant teams to troubleshoot and resolve automation-related problems.
• Facilitate the transition of automation responsibilities to the operational support team post-migration.
• Carry out migration tasks according to the project plan and schedule.
• Provide troubleshooting, support, and performance optimization for systems and environments during migration to cloud.
• Support transition to Operations and hyper care and ensure a successful transition and handover to the operations team.
• Provide dedicated support during the post-transition period
