Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- 4-year college degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience and education
- Engineering skills including basic understanding of control systems, mechanics, pneumatics, and typical factory floor industrial equipment
- 5 years of related work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
- Strong mechanical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 7+ years related work experience in high-volume, precision assembly processes
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, install, and modify manufacturing equipment control systems
- 50%
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment using standardized root cause analysis techniques 25%
- Support manufacturing plant VA / VE (Value Add / Value Engineering) 10%
- Provide guidance and direction to other associates 5%
- Train associates, develop schematics, deliver presentations, manage projects, etc. 5%
- Other duties as assigned 5%

- Maintain knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment
- Interact with all levels with the organization with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Coordinate and recommend cost savings and efficiency ideas
- Manage multiple functions and deadlines, work independently, and make effective decisions
- Support, guide and train other engineers, interns, technical and maintenance associates
- Adapt to changing requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No direct reports
Software:
- Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Intermediate experience with 2D CAD software, AutoCAD and CATIA

- Ability to work for extended periods of time while sitting
- Standing, walking, and bending for the duration of the workday
- Ability to lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds
- Visual ability to work accurately with detailed information and a computer screen
