We – Maersk Project Logistics (MPL) - are now looking for Financial Operations (FinOps) Associate who can efficiently handle the daily creation of financial documents, provide valuable comments, and serve as an extension to the operational part of our business. The role as FinOps Associate offers a great opportunity to be part of a winning team and be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our increased focus on Maersk Project Logistics. As a remote member of our FinOps team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service, maintaining clear communication, being cost-conscious, and consistently performing to support our growth goals and ensure the success of our customers in Project Logistics.

The position is based onsite in Gdynia. The rest of the Team is located in Aarhus, Denmark and the job requires you are flexible to travel to Denmark for training and when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Our team of FinOps Associates help with generating sales orders, managing invoices, creating purchase orders, and processing incoming invoices from suppliers. You'll handle intercompany billing and participate in other financial operations-related tasks. The tasks will be carried in SAP and CargoWise. Our accounting teams in Global Shared Service in India handle accounting and treasury activities. As our company undergoes a transition, the role will also adapt and develop accordingly, allowing you to grow your skills and knowledge across our business!

  • MS Office: Excel, Outlook
  • SAP FACT / FI / R3 / Hana would be preferable
  • Basic knowledge of Finance Principles, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable / Operational Finance
  • Order to Invoice process knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent English (C1 min) - this is our official and the actual language of communication
