Work Location:  Malvern, PA – Hybrid, coming into the office at least 3 days per week with Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday being set days.

What you’ll do:

  • General Enterprise Risk Management Program
    • Support the execution of the Enterprise Risk framework and strategy throughout the organization
    • Assist with the development, review, enhancement and implementation of related Enterprise Risk policies, procedures, monitoring activities and controls
    • Support ERM projects and initiatives to drive improvements to key processes, controls and data analytics integrations
    • Maintain awareness of the current regulatory/industry trends impacting risk management principles, policies and procedures
    • Assist with executing Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across the organization
    • Support and enhance Financial Risk (capital, liquidity, IRR) oversight initiatives, processes and controls
  • Risk Appetite and Tolerance
    • Partner with process owners to identify, assess, monitor, measure, and report on key risk indicators
    • Perform analysis for risk trends and data discrepancies, while effectively communicating analysis output
    • Maintain Risk Appetite Statements, enhance and manage linkages between top-level Risk Appetite Statements and actionable key risk indicators 
  • Committee Management
    • Act as record keeper at various Board and committee meetings
    • Prepare agendas, attend meetings, and transcribe minutes

What do you need?

  • 2 + years of experience in enterprise risk management, financial risk management, operational risk management and/or internal audit experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Familiarity and interest in emerging technologies, digital assets, etc.
  • Ability to take complex concepts and communicate them in a clear/concise manner
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to see the “big picture” and linkages between risk programs and data
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and to multi-task
  • Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking skills, and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change

Technology Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams Outlook
  • Data analytics software – MicroStrategy, Tableau, etc.
  • Advanced Excel, VBA, and Python is a plus
