We are a new team, called Strategy and Innovation at EY Parthenon, based in Mauritius, serving Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa. We bring an entrepreneurial, disruptive and design-led approach to strategy consulting.

 

In this role, you will be supporting different projects for our clients, performing research, analysis, customer presentations and marketing activities to build new relationships.

 

You will be working with ambitious clients, some of which want to change the rules of their industry. All our clients approach us with challenging goals, a desire for excellence and for us to be more like partners in their journey. You will be close to our clients, and help accelerate their growth, by bringing together business, design, technology, and social impact to their business. Here are some of the challenges that you might work on:

Design an approach to tackle inequality, help governments solve complex, intractable challenges to fuel economic growth, help transition from coal in the depths of an energy crisis, build innovation capability in governments, support the adoption of AI across an organization, or launch a new InsureTech disruptor in Africa. Think like a strategist, and build like an entrepreneur.

 

We are recruiting consultants to join our team in Mauritius.   
 

Here’s what it takes

You will be responsible for supporting our client projects, from business development, to project delivery.

 

Your average day with us:

• Research: Conduct written primary and secondary research on industries, companies, and end-users.
• Analysis: Synthesise complex information from multiple sources into a coherent narrative
• Communication: Build trust with clients through written Powerpoint and oral presentations, professional reports and other communications.
• Project Management: Apply an Agile-inspired approach to managing projects.
• Business Development: Organize sprints, hackathons, and innovation challenges on behalf of clients.
• Team building: Actively participate in building a high-powered team that learns and grows together.
• Travelling: You may travel across Europe, the Middle East and Africa to meet clients where they are.

Qualifications:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or Social Science.
• You have one year or more of work experience*.

* If you are a fresh graduate, your internships might count as work experience.

• You have experience leading teams to achieve successful outcomes (e.g., as a club president, in a sports team, or at school or work).
• You are based in Mauritius and you can work here.
