Asset Digitization Product Developer

At Asset Digitization global function, we are looking for a software developer to build, configure and implement our applications. You will work with other developers, deployers, testers and product managers throughout the software development life cycle.

In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages, we’d like to meet you.

Daily task of the roles are outlined below:

  • Collaboration in development, testing and supporting activities.
  • Overseeing product development, integration of SCADA data with business applications.
  • Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
  • Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
  • Integrate software components and third-party programs
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
  • Gather and evaluate user feedback
  • Recommend and execute improvements
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

What it takes to be successful in this role:

  • Background in software projects: develop, configure, testing and database administrator.
  • Knowledge of coding languages and frameworks: JAVA, Python, HTML, Javascript, React, Angular, WebServices (SOAP, API Rest), Spring framework, JPA.
  • OPC communication in industrial environment
  • Port/terminal experience / background or general understanding.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, Ignition
  • Experiences with Power BI and Microsoft Azure.

  • Good oral and written communication and collaborations skills.
  • Fluency in English (B2)
  • Passion about technology and software engineering
  • Interest in modern system architectures like event-based architecture, domain-driven design, microservices etc.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving

This is the global (mostly remote with some travel, relocation not required) role with the preference to be based in Americas time zone to effectively cover the terminals located in the region.
