Automation Engineering I/II - Seqirus USA - NC - Holly Springs

Report to the Head of Automation Engineering or Principal/Manager Engineer. You will provide technical support, lead investigations, implement corrective actions and change controls, complete validation qualifications, and leads projects. You will also troubleshoot equipment-related issues and develop sound engineering solutions to address identified problems, perform engineering tasks for the design, procurement, fabrication and/or commissioning phases associated with standard or custom systems.

You will work onsite at our CSL Seqirus in Holly Springs, NC location. This role can be from 7am-4pm OR 1pm-9pm (pending what fits your schedule). Responsibilities

• Oversaw all processes and supported automation systems at the site.
• Provide Process Engineering guidance and expertise globally to automation systems and capability across the manufacturing network.
• Define the automation engineering support strategy and organization to ensure reliable, safe operation of the process equipment and utility systems during and after installation.
• Technical subject matter expert who participates in cross-functional teams to lead and ensure the automation systems are designed and operate reliably to meet the overall our goals across the Holly Springs site.

Qualifications:

• 2 years experience in Engineering within a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation or in a pharmaceutical operation - A past internship, co-op or shadowing in an Automation type role
• Previous work with customers, design teams, contractors, and management
• Bachelors degree in a related field
