Could you be our next Network Strategy TA Lead? This position is located in our King of Prussia PA, Kankakee IL, Holly Springs NC, Broadmeadows, AU, Maidenhead, UK. Liverpool UK, Marburg Germany or Bern Switzerland office. It is a Hybrid role. You will report to the Vice President, Head of Network Strategy.

You will align CSL Manufacturing Operations (Operations), the Therapeutic Area Leadership Teams (TALT) & Product Strategy Teams (PST) and Global Commercial Operations to ensure CSL has an integrated, long-term manufacturing strategy that support the needs of our patients and our business.  This includes ensuring manufacturing capacity is accounted for in the Long-Term Capacity Planning (LTCP) and other life-cycle programs required to ensure CSL’s products remain accessible to our patients.  You will be a member of the Product Strategy Teams for their products and will be the primary contact between the PST and Network Strategy and lead Operational aspects of the strategic product programs.

You will work across all three CSL departments to provide an integrated Network Strategy for CSL’s Vaccine, Iron, Recombinant & Gene Therapy portfolio.

You will lead the design of the long-term sourcing and life-cycle management strategy for their products to support Operations, R&D and commercial goals.  To facilitate the development and coordination of this strategy and to build supporting projects, you will lead a team consisting of main representative from Operations and other responsibilities.

You will manage the roadmap of projects for their portfolio of products.  This includes prioritization of projects within their remit and aligning project priorities across with the broader Network Strategy group, Portfolio Management, sites and other Operations responsibilities.  You will ensure projects are captured in the annual budgeting process and ensuring major programs are planned and accounted for in the 10-year forecast.

Responsibilities:

• Define what, where and when Operations needs to build projects to meet CSL’s commitments (capacity, revenue, margin) and guides CSL’s products to an industry-leading position.
• Work with Operations responsibilities and Quality, Regulatory, R&D and Commercial on projects, sourcing and other Network Strategy decisions to ensure agreement and endorsement of strategy.
• Build a Manufacturing Strategy Team. Help assess data required for assessing risk and making decisions on product strategy, prioritization and product improvement programs. Present full business cases, based on product strategy goals to governance bodies (EPC, IRB) for endorsement and approval.
• Engage with Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, Finance and other tasks to develop annual and long-range budgeting and financial modeling for projects to ensure investments are made at the site and at the right time.
• Identify new business and product opportunities, with business development team

Qualifications:

• BS or BA in science or engineering (biotechnology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or a related sciences). 
• 10 years of experience and demonstrated leadership in manufacturing operations, product operations or Supply Chain, with a significant component in Plasma, Iron vaccines or biologics manufacturing and supply. 
• Experience with lifecycle management of biotech products including regulatory changes, supply chain planning
• Experience managing projects, project management/risk and issue management and reporting in a regulated environment
• Experience with senior level interactions and influence with senior Manufacturing, Commercial leadership.
