Job Summary
The Operations Support Specialist will work in partnership with CHE Care Management leadership and various operational teams and organizational departments to support the development and implementation of programs/projects/initiatives to ensure operational efficiency, enhanced safety, increased productivity, reduced cost, and continuous improvement. Assists in managing the day-to-day operational needs as well as the strategic goals of the business.
Essential Functions
Offers support in clinical analysis, data analytics, clinical process redesign, and identification of strategic opportunities/risks.
Assists leaders in translating issues and implementing goals and objectives into practical, integrated changes and processes.
- Ensures optimum clinical quality and performance within the team.
- Manages Care Management dashboard metrics.
- Oversees Care Management website management.
- Collects, collates, and reports data on length of stay, discharge delays, throughput, and next site of care.
- Converts business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
- Evaluates and interprets data findings accurately.
- Translates conclusions into relevant and clear insights for the target audience.
- Critically evaluates data integrity and reconciles inconsistencies.
- Participates in process improvement analysis.
- Assists with implementation, collaborating with appropriate team members.
- Participates in committee or departmental meetings as appropriate.
- Supports programs and business needs directed by the CHE Senior Director IP Care Management.
- Operates at multiple levels within the organization, including regional departments and system wide.
- Prioritizes competing projects and deadlines.
- Performs other duties as determined.
- May involve some travel between Corewell East and West locations.
- Actively participates in committee meetings.

Qualifications
Required
- 1-3 years health care operational and/or financial data analytic experience
Preferred
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree In business administration or health administration or similar field
- Experience with Epic, Tableau SharePoint
- Microsoft Office familiarity
