About the Role
An excellent opportunity now exists for a Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's in the Hepatology trials department as a Clinical Trial Coordinator on a Full Time, 12 months Fixed term basis.
Working in collaboration with a dynamic multidisciplinary the Clinical Trials Coordinator will be responsible for patient liaison, education and the coordination and management of Hepatology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) clinical trials within the department.
Classifications for this position will be YU13 - YX13 ($102278.80 - $113646.00 per annum)
Duties
Assist in the running of Hepatology and I.B.D. Clinical Trials
Educate patients on administration and side effect management of treatment
Facilitate patient treatment visits
Monitoring of treatment patients throughout the treatment and follow-up phase
Liaising with Sponsoring Pharmaceutical Companies and Clinical Research Co-ordinate patient visit schedules and patient progress
You Contribution
Hold appropriate qualifications and registration with AHPRA of Australia
Advanced clinical nursing skills
Must be competent in Venepuncture
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
Experience working as a Clinical Trial Coordinator (Desirable)

About Gastroenterology Department
The Gastroenterology Department provides a comprehensive range of consultative and diagnostic procedures in Gastroenterology with particular interest in chronic viral hepatitis, inflammatory bowel disease, therapeutic endoscopy and oesophageal disorders.
