performance of an assigned customer portfolio for a medium impact
client base in any size cluster/geographical area.

You will be responsible for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio by providing Maersk’s solutions for Japanese technology customers across the globe, and non-Japan based technology customers who do business in Japan.

Various trainings, OJT and regular support will be provided by the company, Manager, Mentor, and Team members while you will also have chance to bring your expertise to the company and lead business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities in end-to-end logistics and ensure CRM (customer relationship management) tools are updated on time with quality.
  • Manages assigned budget base; pursues and secures business in line with the business objectives.
  • Develop account plans.
  • Identifies and establishes business contacts with potential new customers.
  • Provides local industry information and analysis to customers & their managements.
  • Researches and analyzes industry trends and competition for our colleagues and managements.
  • Obtain customer specific information through meeting with customers in person or via on-line meeting.
  • Got invitation to customers’ regular tenders and attend to them with assistance from Sales operation team.
  • Be an escalation point for service issues customers are facing and assign the cases to the most relevant internal parties.

What we are looking for

Candidates should have/be

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics
  • 2+ years of experience in sales
  • Fluent communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Capability to develop new business and new customers
  • Self-driven to achieve team’s and individual objectives
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with team members
  • Open-minded for changes and diversity
  • Problem-solving skills
