The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Our Marketing & Sales Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless sales operations. They document processes, create engaging presentations, collaborate cross-functionally, and provide valuable insights to empower our sales and marketing team. Their mission is to enhance efficiency, drive informed decisions, and contribute to our overall sales success.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Documenting the sales process, including creating flowcharts, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and process maps.

  • Organizing, updating, and distributing relevant materials to the sales team.

  • Creating visually appealing and informative presentations.

  • Cross functional collaboration to with various teams to gather information or resolve customer issues.

  • Providing data and guides to help the sales team make informed decisions.

  • Developing and monitoring performance indicators related to sales.

  • Staying updated on product launches and features.

  • Suggesting improvements to the sales process.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, with 3 to 6 years of professional experience.

  • Experience in product marketing with branding will be added advantage. Multi culture experience is a benefit. 

  • Knowledge of power systems will be added advantage.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for creating reports, documentation, and presentations.

  • Knowledge of document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Google Drive) for efficient storage, retrieval, and sharing of sales-related documents.

  • Ability to create compelling presentations using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.

  • Proficiency in communication platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams) to collaborate with team members and share information.

  • Proficiency in English language, German or French or Spanish language skills are added advantage.
