Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering SMTS in Dallas, TX:

Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Gather requirements, design, develop, test, and support the solutions (data stores, applications, APIs, tools, and processes) that together comprise Discover and Audience Builder; Lead the efforts of upgrading the platform to comply with core initiatives and coordinate Discover products patch releases; Design and deliver code for features and products with a quality mindset; Write clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well; Verify quality of the code delivered through test planning and manual/automated testing; Provide oversight through code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within their scrum team; Adopt, embrace, and promote agile practices with peers; Collaborate with other software engineers, PM, and UX to ensure the features that are delivered meet business and quality requirements; Troubleshoot and fix production issues; Utilize the following tools and technologies: C#, Java, Object Oriented Programming, algorithms, data structures, design patterns, SOAP and REST based APIs (XML, JSON), web application development security principles (OWASP Top 10), relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL),Operating Systems: Windows & Linux, Continuous Integration & development using Teamcity, and developer tools (git, TFS, and Visual Studio IDE). Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) SQL; (3) Oracle; (4) XML; (5) REST; (6) Spring; (7) Hibernate; (8) Unix; (9) JUnit; and (10) Jenkins. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required.
