We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, and you'll be working closely with fellow developers, designers, and product managers to ensure our software aligns seamlessly with user expectations. We are seeking talented Software Developmers to join our growing and industry-leading SaaS integration solution IBM App Connect that connects any of your applications and data no matter where they reside. With hundreds of prebuilt connectors and customizable templates, organizations can rapidly connect SaaS applications and build integration flows. IBM App Connect makes SaaS integration easy with a simple, no-code interface and incorporates AI-based features, empowering business users to easily map and transform data in a few clicks.

Required Experience:

Software Development Expertise:

• Strong background in software development, demonstrating expertise in Node.js for more than 6 years.
• Experience with REST apis and Open API Standards.
• Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests. Codecept knowledge will be an add on.
• Understanding of Node.JS frameworks such as Loopback, Express.JS.

Cloud Technology Proficiency:

• Experience with cloud-based technologies, showcasing familiarity with modern cloud ecosystems and tools.
• Experience with deployment automation, CI-CD tooling such as Jenkins and Travis.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to Public Cloud such as IBM Cloud, AWS.

NoSQL Database Knowledge:

• Familiarity in NoSQL databases, particularly experience with technologies like DynamoDB, Cloudant, adding value to data management practices.

Self-Starter Mindest:

• A self-starter with a proactive mindset, able to initiate and drive projects independently.

Excellent Problem-Solving Skills:

• Demonstrated excellence in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.

Collaborative Team Player:

• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team, contributing to collective goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 6 to 8 years of product development experience in Nodejs.
• Have experience using and developing REST APIs.
• Understanding of Node.JS frameworks such as Loopback, Express.JS.
• Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests. Codecept knowledge will be an add on.
• Experience with deployment automation, CI-CD tooling such as Jenkins and Travis.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving thinking.
• Understand user and system requirements.
• Have an understanding of, or experience with, Agile development methodology.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Knowledge on Open API Specification, AWS, CI/CD and Cloud technologies.
