Your Role and Responsibilities

Global vendor management team is the last control point for new supplier setups and updates. A sustainable vendor management is the prerequisite for an effective supply base and is key enabler to efficiently conduct business, purchase goods and services, and make payments with any company. You will need to participate as individual contributor to a team with direct responsibilities to maintain a vendor master file according to the data, payment and tax standards. Decision making according to the guidelines is a daily routine.

Review requests for new setup/update and according to the data standards and the business and policy rules to approve or reject
  • Make sure the necessary supporting documentation is available according to the internal procedures.
  • Provide suport for audit purposes.
  • Analyze documentation and prevent system record duplications.
  • Continuously seek for areas for improvement.
  • Communication with internal stakeholders (Procurement, requesters, Accounts Payable teams)
