Your Role and Responsibilities
As lead developer, you will be a key individual responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and supporting software development and extension of our internally built and 3rd party solutions. In addition, you will interface with senior architects across several locations to understand the requirements and support development of solutions to meet the requirements.

Responsibilities:
The architect and lead developer will work closely with senior architects, development and cross-functional-area specialists:

  • Develop Software Solutions in Cloud with emphasis on security and performance.
  • Owning the business commitments for end-to-end software development and operationalizing activities.
  • Working with Sr architects and development manager to define strategic direction.
  • Coordinating with Sr architects and interfacing with other teams on requirements for development and operations activities.
  • Ensuring that development requirements for operations are delivered and tracked.
  • Support operational design, implementation, and validation of a highly secure, resilient, and performance for cloud software solutions.
  • Keep current with industry cloud technology trends.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • 4+ years in development in a large Cloud based environment.
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure development.
  • Programming experience in at least one of these languages: Python, GO, Java, JavaScript.
  • Platform experience in at least one of these modules: ServiceNow (CMDB), ServiceNow(Secops).
  • Understanding of IT Security Controls, secure architecture and design fundamentals.
  • Experience developing, implementing, or operating large-scale IaaS, ultra-highly available and highly secure cloud environments/services.
  • Experience developing and implementing core security controls such as inventory management, logging & intrusion detection, vulnerability scanning, secrets management, identity and access management for cloud services and infrastructure assets.
  • Experience building new systems and upgrading and patching existing ones.
  • Specific Knowledge: Software Engineering and Automation tooling (GIT, Jenkins, Travis, Jira), Networking (Protocols, Load balancing, troubleshooting), deployment & configuration management (Chef, Salt Stack, Ansible), Linux, Containers, Kubernetes.


Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Working knowledge of applied Cloud DevOps, cryptography and public key infrastructure
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills and ability to lead development of complex solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the challenges for development and operations of large-scale cloud infrastructure
