DBA- Data Base Administrator

Your Role and Responsibilities
Database Administration:Install, configure, and maintain either Oracle and/or PostgreSQL, and MS-SQL databases ; Perform database backups, restores, and recoveries ; Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization techniques ;Ensure database security, integrity, and availability ; Implement and maintain database replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions
Analyze database performance metrics and identify areas for improvement ;Implement indexing, caching, and other optimization techniques; Optimize database configuration, memory allocation, and resource utilization * Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations ; Communicate database design, implementation, and performance metrics to stakeholders; Provide training and support to junior team members ;Participate in database design reviews and ensure compliance with industry best practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Hands on experience as a DBA, with expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MS-SQL(The candidate has to possess either two of the three skills )
Strong understanding of database architecture, design, and performance tuning ;
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and other database programming languages ;
Experience with database replicating, and high-availability solutions
confirm if they can perform a DBA role independently with minimal supervision.
The skills required are that of a typical DBA who can troubleshoot, administer the planned tasks as well as be on call when needed to support escalated issues
