As a  Senior Technical Consultant – Embedded (eTC) you will be responsible for providing eSIM pre-sale and post-sale support in depth technical analysis and troubleshooting. 

Key responsibilities:

• You will own the eSIM technical interface with customers and influence requirements/specifications.
• You will animate, educate and support the network of technical consultants acting on the local accounts.
• You will help the global and local sales force to understand what solution already exist in Thales DIS to improve efficiency in developments and create synergies between local accounts teams.
• You will ensure feedback to the corporate product marketing, R&D and technical teams on technical features required by the customers, in full coordination with the sales & marketing teams.
• You will assist the Thales DIS sales & marketing forces in defining and/or positioning existing or new eSIM products.
• You will provide ad hoc expert support and/or training to the customers and local technical consultants working on global products.

Our requirements:     

• To succeed at this job, you must have an extensive Technical Consulting experience in smart cards and in wireless devices (around 10 years).
• We would like someone to join our team who has very good knowledge of the different RSP/eUICC Standards and who shall be able to understand and explain in detail such standards to a customer.
• Additionally, you should communicate clearly and adapt quickly to any customer technical requirements and need, by providing tailor-made solutions in order to create customer technical intimacy.
• It would help also, if you think out of the box and have an innovator mindset to accompany our customers in their new successful eUICC journey. 
• Understanding of telecom different access network environment (GSM/UMTS/CDMA/LTE/5G) as well as understanding of 3GPP, 3GPP2 and GSMA standards is essential at this job.
• We are looking for someone who is organized and  detailed-oriented, who works in a methodical way, someone who is autonomous, resilient and able to respond effectively under pressure.
• You must be fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Preferable having a master degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Telecom.
