Backend Engineer - Bucharest

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Backend Engineer to join our talented team in Bucharest and help drive the development of cutting-edge applications within our Central Test Management department.

Position Summary:

The Backend Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET or C#, with the ability to create Power Apps and work with Microsoft 360 Apps and SharePoint. The candidate should also be proficient in SQL and possess a versatile and learning-friendly attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET or C#.

· Create and manage Power Apps to streamline business processes.

· Integrate and customize Microsoft 360 Apps and SharePoint solutions to meet business needs.

· Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database designs.

· Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain modern and competitive.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.

· Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality.

· Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience as a backend engineer or similar role.

· Strong proficiency in .NET or C#.

· Experience with Power Apps and Microsoft 360 Apps.

· Familiarity with SharePoint development and customization.

· Proficiency in SQL and database management.

· Versatile and quick to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

· Familiarity with another alternative programming language is a plus but not mandatory.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.

· Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

· Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
