Position Title: Senior Events Manager
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours per week: 38 Hours
Position Grade: Health Service Manager Level 3
Salary: $$122,850.00-$139,559.00 base salary per annum
Enterprise Agreement:The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement 2019

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading the development, production, budget management and co-ordination of events for the Foundation and St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney and St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith to ensure the delivery of high quality events.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Position Title who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who are Manager to include desired experience/attributes.

Internal applicants i.e. current employees of St Vincent’s Hospital or an entity of SVHA are required to apply via their Workday account.

Selection Criteria:

  • Proven experience of 5 + years as an Event or Senior Event Manager responsible for developing, planning, and executing a range of high end small to medium sized events preferably in a not for profit or in the health industry to ensure return on investment.

  • Experience working in a fast paced, high pressure environment working for multiple stakeholders with conflicting Event schedules.

  • Proven leadership and management of direct reports, event staff and volunteers, event contractors and suppliers.

  • Strong communication skills with management of complex senior internal and external stakeholder relationships including VIP and stakeholder liaison, briefing and drafting of speech notes for Events.

  • Highly developed and effective negotiation and delegation skills.

  • Management of Event budgets to achieve best ROI including identifying opportunities for reducing event costs through sponsorships and partnerships.

  • Proven experience using a CRM system with an Events module to track budgets, event attendees and provide post event analysis
