As our Hotel Services Assistant you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Corinda. Located just 14 km from the CBD in the leafy western suburbs, St Vincent’s Care Corinda is a beautiful newly built home. Opened in early 2022, the home will deliver outstanding levels of wellbeing and comfort for our residents and a positive uplifting work/life balance for our staff.

Things that work for us:

  • Cert III in Hospitality or a Cert III in a similar field

  • Experience with Food Services area including meal preparation, presentation, and distribution; Café Service

  • Comfortable developing a relationship with each resident in your care, building trust and familiarity and supporting everyone’s personal space to be homelike, respectful and safe

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

  • High level of customer service skills

  • Know, understand, and adhere to the requirements of the Aged Care Quality Standards and Food Safety standards

  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan

  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
