What This Job Involves 

You will be supporting our clients and the JLL team on data analysis, visualization and implementation of new data or digital solutions that will further advance the efficiency and/or effectiveness of the team. This will include the proper identification of business requirements, problem discovery and supporting the promotion of data culture and curriculum within the on-account team. You will also support your manager in other relevant administrative duties. 

You will gather and question the requirements from business users to ensure the right problem is being solved and apply an analytical lens to derive insights and deliver the findings back in an easy to understand/ interpret manner. 

You will be coordinating with the stakeholders for client report/ dashboard creation and use an approved data transformation tool to assist in data collection, preparation, cleansing and transformation of client data into an approved data visualization tool for dashboard development. 

Detailed responsibilities: 

• Design, develop and deploy BI solutions, including interactive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, sourcing data from internal SQL Server databases, Tableau published data sources, external sources, and leveraging ETL tools (Alteryx) when needed. 
• Develops, executes and monitors simple to moderately complex data management / analytic processes to support ad hoc data and information delivery for assigned projects 
• Translate business questions and hypotheses into a data analysis plan.  Execute the analysis either autonomously or in collaboration with others, depending on what the task calls for.  Translate the results of the analysis into actionable recommendations and concrete answers to the business questions 
• Leverage industry tools (i.e. Alteryx/SSMS) to assess data quality and assist to resolve data quality problems 
• Validate and cleanup input data, ensure assumptions are correct, manage outliers appropriately, raise any questions or issues with the input data if any exists, and help find the root cause of those issues 
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business questions/requirements/opportunities, and to support the accurate business usage and interpretation of JLL data as well as provide insight/answers to meet the needs of the business 
• Engage with colleagues and internal customers to reverse engineer existing business processes and identify core business requirements for new information deliverables and data infrastructure

Qualifications 

• 2+ years of BI, business or data analyst experience required ideally in an enterprise environment across multiple application systems and business functions 
• Advanced English level of communication
• Demonstrated ability to manage, manipulate, analyze raw data, research data issues, draw conclusions, provide resolution, and develop actionable recommendations 
• Must have demonstrated experience in building and analyzing reports and dashboards along with summarizing the data for business users (Able to take abstract ideas or requirements and work independently towards development of a report/dashboard)
• Excellent presentation skills (verbal and written), strong understanding of analytic/statistical concepts with the ability to explain them to others 
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau (Power BI is preferred)
• Proficiency in ETL processes/tools - Alteryx is preferred 
• Strong SQL skills with experience developing complex queries. Knowledge of stored procedures. 
• Being Analytical: You will have a good understanding of business users’ requirements and data. You will be able to advise users on the right analytics to communicate the intended message to the target audience. 
• Meticulous & Independent: You will pay strong attention to detail and have excellent problem-solving skills. Able to handle project and tasks independently with end-to-end ownership. Possess the ability to collate information into cohesive presentations with proper slide layout/ design. 

  

Preferred 

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field 
• Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment – works well in a remote environment 
• Business analysis, consulting/advisory and/or project or client management experience will be a strong plus 
• Exposure to SharePoint Power Applications and SSRS (Report Builder)
• Having a broad understanding of the Corporate Real Estate business
• Experience with Agile methodologies and knowledge of development lifecycle
• Comfortable with presenting to senior managers and executives.
