Production Line Roller

General Description:

Perform sequential moves along production line, stopping at work centers along the line where a production operation is performed. Ensures line moves in a safe and efficient manner while controlling risks associated with the line roll that can produce injury to persons, interrupt productions, or damage property. Inspects work area and home to ensure safety requirements are met prior to moving home. This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, and manual dexterity. This person will also frequently push and pull heavy objects, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.

Organizational Relationships and Authority:

• This position reports to the Assistant Production Manager

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintains and implements all safety protocols when conducting line move (no talking, ensures protocols are followed to alert TMs of line move, ensures TMs are away from moving objects).
• Manipulates control in a safe and efficient manner
• Inspects home and work area prior to line moving
• Implements ISO recycling requirements
• 100% focus on the line while moving.
• Maintains hygiene of area, sweeping and removing debris throughout the day
• Perform spotter and or operate line roll equipment

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

• Good communication (verbal, nonverbal, hearing)
• Standing, lifting, climbing, crouching, manual dexterity
• Operate line roll equipment

Education & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
