Job Description:

St Vincent’s Clinic Medical Imaging & Nuclear Medicine is a tertiary referral, private practice located in Darlinghurst, Sydney. We provide medical imaging and nuclear medicine services to in-patients and out-patients of St Vincent’s Clinic, St Vincent’s Private Hospital, and external referrers, with the highest level of customer service and imaging excellence. We are a friendly, professional team, operating in a fast-paced environment with the latest technology, providing a great opportunity to hone your medical imaging skills.

We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine technologist with CT qualifications - with AHPRA registration and EPA licence to join our team in a full-time position. 

Definition of Position

The successful candidate will be commitment to providing high quality imaging services in an accurate and efficient manner, in accordance with SVCMI&NM policies, procedures, and values. 

The successful candidate will be required to complete shifts between 8:00am-4:00pm - Monday to Friday.

Applicants must:

  • Delivery of high quality, accurate and efficient imaging, and medical imaging services,
  • Promote a patient-focused approach to imaging, provision of excellence in patient care and customer service,
  • Hold a strong work ethic with commitment to quality, safety, and risk management,
  • Work efficiently and effectively within a small team, 
  • Demonstrate well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with Radiologists.

In line with Medical Imaging 2023 EA

Essential Criteria

  • ASAR Registration,
  • Working with Children Check,
  • Eligibility to work in Australia,
  • Criminal record check,
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (If obtained overseas, they will need to send certificate/statement from the country’s health organisation),
  • Vaccination & Immunisation Checklist in line with SVPH policy,

SVPHS has a duty of care under work health and safety legislation to eliminate and/or control the risk of transmission of vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) in healthcare settings. You are therefore required to comply with the SVHA Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy, which, depending on the role you perform in the organisation will require you to undergo mandatory immunisations/vaccinations (including COVID-19 and flu vaccinations).
