Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours per week: 38 hours
Position Grade: Health Service Manager Level 4
Salary: $137,173.00 to $163,431.00 base salary per annum
Enterprise Agreement: The Named NSW (Non-Declared) Affiliated Health Organisations’ Health Employees Agreement 2019

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of SVHNS.

The Senior Finance Business Partner forms part of the senior management team within the Business Partnering & Management Accounting team who act as trusted advisors to SVHNS, providing strategic finance advice to ensure the ongoing financial sustainability of St. Vincent’s. The position will work closely with the SVHNS leadership team to drive and deliver financial and operational strategic objectives for SVHNS.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce or other relevant discipline and membership of an appropriate professional accounting body or equivalent relevant experience.

3. Demonstrated experience (5-years minimum) in management accounting or finance business partnering within a large, complex organisation, using computerised financial accounting (Current financial system - Oracle), budgeting and management reporting systems.

4. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communications skills, including demonstrated liaison and negotiation experience with a wide range of stakeholders including the Executive level.

5. Strong analytical skills and mindset, including the ability to conduct financial analysis using various statistical techniques, monitor and analyse data and perform modelling using Power BI to build and optimise dashboards and reports.

6. Strong understanding of public hospital revenue, funding arrangements, and cost drivers within the health industry.
