This Reedy Creek Energy Services (RCES) manager support Cast Members and system across the Central Florida Tourism Oversight (CFTOD) utilities including enterprise asset management systems (IBM's Maximo), IT and network systems, mechanical and electrical control systems, energy management systems, warehouse, procurement, and contracting functions. You will collaborate with Utility and Facility managers to develop performance indicators/metrics reports. You will be also the lead for developing and monitoring compliance with cyber and physical security processes and administration of business continuity plans across utility and back-of-house Walt Disney World facilities.

You will report to the Director, Reedy Creek Energy Services.

What You Will Do

  • Direct a team of approximately 25 Cast Members with a mix of salaried, office and technical, and unionized Cast Members.

  • Lead a culture of safety through active and caring engagement with Cast Members to support our vision that "No One Gets Hurt"

  • Provide mentorship to Information Technology Cast and function. Accountable for change management processes and protocols.

  • Collaborate with management team across RCES to establish and prioritize technology and automation improvements to improve safety, increase efficiency and operational effectiveness.

  • Lead planned technical obsolescence programs for controls equipment and software systems.

  • Manage utility warehouse and procurement function. Review requisitions for vital equipment, material, and supplies; Prepare equipment and bid specification documents.

  • Develop enterprise level strategic processes for work management across utilities.

  • Guide the use of Maximo to record and supervise all utility assets including prioritization and completion of preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.

  • Work with utility and facility managers to establish and implement well-defined emergency protocols and business continuity plans and procedures.

  • Develop goals and scorecards for all utility and facility functions. Advise the preparation of monthly reports and scorecard across utility teams.

  • Help coordinate contracts including scope of work, unit costing items, and bid alternates and operational constraints required for contract preparation.

  • Accountable for utility physical and cyber-security processes, procedures, and programs.

  • Administer training scheduling for Cast Members.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Five (5) years in a leadership or supervisory role.

  • Previous experience in utility industry, information technology/systems, logistics, supply chain or work management.

  • Experience with Indicators, scorecards, or metrics to improve performance improvements.

  • Leadership capabilities, able to engage others in the required process, set expectations and hold people accountable.

  • Experience with strategic and long-term planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the Utility industry with a focus on the requirements needed to support utility engineering, operations, or information systems components.

  • Experience leading unionized personnel.

  • Previous experience with any of the following systems: GE Grid Solutions, iFIX from GE Digital, or Maximo for Utilities.

  • Working knowledge of physical and cyber security requirements for utilities.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
