Are you ready to elevate your career in customer service? We are looking for a dynamic Customer Service Manager to join our Warehousing and Distribution management team at our Willebroek site.

About the Role

As a Customer Service Manager, you'll ensure top-notch service for our Solution Customers, who value long-term partnerships and bespoke solutions. Your mission is to foster a work environment where your team can deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role emphasizes listening to the customer, engaging employees, developing staff, and optimizing processes and costs. You will report directly to the Site Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and Manage the Customer Service Supply Chain department to focus on the key drivers of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Compliance by understanding contracts, terms, conditions, and charge structures, safeguarding Maersk’s interests.
  • Promote Excellence by instilling an Operational Process Excellence (OPEX) mindset and utilizing available tools to achieve top-tier performance.
  • Maintain Quality Standards by ensuring all processes are documented and adhere to local Quality Management Systems.
  • Implement New Customers alongside the Commercial and Implementation teams, establishing and managing internal procedures during the hyper-care phase.
  • Monitor and Report on the performance of Solutions Customer Service.

Who We are looking for

  • Leadership: Strong skills in leading people, with a passion for team development and guidance.
  • Industry Experience: Solid background in customer-facing roles within Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or Logistics. Knowledge of Warehousing and Distribution is a plus.
  • Commercial Acumen: Innovative and open-minded, always seeking new opportunities to advance our Customs product.
  • Personal Traits: A strong, passionate personality with a holistic view, effectiveness in diverse cultural settings, and the ability to remain optimistic and stress resistant.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Location: Available to work in Willebroek (flexible home-working policy available).
