Job Title - Developer – Java Spring boot

Location - Pune

Role Description

• Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience in Java 8 and Enterprise Java
• Good to have technical knowledge and hands on experience in Java frameworks - Spring Batch, Sprint Boot, Apache Camel, Rest API, Microservices
• Should have good knowledge in Build tools like maven
• Should have good knowledge in revision control system - Bitbucket (preferably), Git
• Should have sound knowledge in Unit testing framework - Junit (preferably), Mockito

Your Key Responsibilities

• Analysis, design and development of sBilling system components along with functional and development team
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing planned engineering changes as part of agile feature team
• Implement and comply with bank policies (naming conventions, encryption, security settings, capacity, availability and other non-functional requirements)
• Design, implementation, execution and results analysis of automated unit, integration, regression, resilience and performance tests
• Code reviews based on the four-eye principle
• Level-3 technical support as well as problem and root cause analysis

Your skills and experience

• B.Tech/BE or M.Tech/ME/MCA/M.Sc. preferably in Computer-Science
• A hands-on technologist with experience in Java based technologies, CI/CD pipeline

Essential skills

• Java 8, Spring, REST APIs, Junit
• Basic knowledge of Oracle/SQL/ PL SQL, Linux, Shell Script, JMS, MQ
• Jira, Confluence, Git, Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins, Artifactory
• Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Proficient communication skills (written/verbal)

Desired skills

• Kafka, Public cloud (aws/google/azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
• TDD, BDD
• Experience in Investment Banking/Financial domain
