OUR TEAM

As part of our VTS business, our PRV team is primarily focused on the design, manufacture, delivery and support of protected mobility vehicles on a global scale. We are very proud of everything we do in support of both the Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms as we all work together towards our purpose.

YOUR ROLE:

Come join us as a Senior Project Manager and work with a team who are successfully delivering this world class capability. The responsibilities of this revolve around ensuring the project objectives in relation to cost, time, safety and quality are exceeded and leading and managing assembled bid/project teams to meet business objectives.

Working at our Brisbane, Eagle Farm office, on Jagera and Turrbul Land, your day to day responsibilities include:

• Engaging transversally across functional areas to optimise resource allocation for bid activities.

• Strategic management of stakeholders and associated communications both external and internal.

• Building and enriching customer experience by ensuring products and services delivered exceed where possible, customer expectations.

• Managing and improving Bid and Project integrated schedule, budget, baselines, risks and opportunities.

• Organising and conducting gate reviews in accordance with Thales Governance framework.

• Take lead in developing a winning strategy with specific win themes and ensuring it translates into a compelling offer.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in Project Management and Bids space at a senior level managing multi-partners / major co-contractors.

• Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques and exposure to Defence ASDEFCON standards is highly preferred.

• Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to make effective commercial and financial decisions.

• Proven and effective leadership skills with a high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to lead and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
