We are looking to hire for the role Product Development Engineer to work as consultant with a key client in the Medical Devices domain. The candidate needs to have experience in developing and sustaining SKUs working within a matrix organization structure and working with cross-functional teams in successful execution of projects. The candidate should have traits like a strong problem-solving ability to mitigate many technical challenges that arise during product sustenance and steer the Cost Improvement Projects of commercialized products. The candidate must have experience in Product Development in Medical Devices industry.

Experience Required

·        Must demonstrate capability in Medical Device product engineering/product development.

·        Must have a strong experience Product Development either in NPD or product sustenance/LCM (experience in sustenance/LCM will be preferred)

·        Work with cross functional teams in R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, quality and regulatory affairs.

·        Must understand Risk Management in a regulated industry through techniques such as DFMEA.

·        Exposure to product development deliverables (DHF, Requirement Traceability Matric, DFMEA, RMR etc.)

·        Must have experience in influencing DFM (design for manufacturability) discussions and negotiations with manufacturing department/suppliers.

·        Must have experience in design and process V&V to take decisions on design verification requirements and guide cross functional teams such as design, testing, engineering analysts and manufacturing to execute required design and process V&V

·        Experience in product design will be an added advantage. At the very least, needs to understand drawings and guide designers to update drawings.
