About the Role

This position is suitable for PGY3/+ looking for a broad base in hospital medicine, or those seeking to pursue a career in General Practice, or sub-specialties including: Psychiatry, Dermatology, Addiction Medicine & Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

You will;

  • Provide effective supervised day to day clinical management of both ambulatory and admitted patients
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement, including collection of data for audit purposes
  • Identify and understand the investigations relevant to a patient’s presenting problem, using investigation results appropriately to guide patient management

Please note that most HMOs will have a roster that includes rotations outside our Fitzroy campus. These may include rotations at Kew, Werribee, Swan Hill and Warrnambool Hospital.

Duration of appointment: 3rd Feb 2025 – 1st Feb 2026 (potential for longer contract)

Classifications for this position will range from HM13 – HM18 ($95,829.24  - $146,230.24  per annum)

Selection Procedures
