Job Description:

About the Role

You will be a leader to the residents, participate in ward, outpatient and surgical activities, provide close support to surgeons on elective and on-call service, and participate in trauma roster. As well as presenting at clinical conferences, journal clubs and departmental audit meetings.

Your clinical exposure will include:

  • Upper and lower limb joint arthroplasty
  • Orthopaedic oncology
  • Sports surgery
  • Upper and lower limb arthroscopic surgery
  • Limb deformity correction
  • Upper limb surgery
  • Trauma surgery

Research is a major focus at the Department, which has research programmes in orthopaedic oncology and arthritis surgery. Opportunities exist to prepare, present and publish original research, with further opportunities available for those wishing to pursue a graduate higher degree at the Masters or Doctorate levels.

Duration of appointment: 3rd February 2025 – 1st February 2026

Classifications for this position will range from HM25 – HM30 ($125,900.84 – $173,290.00)
