Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, reliable team player that can add value to our Mill Department. The Mill Team Member will be responsible prep of materials for use thought the production line in an efficient manner while maintaining a safe, and organized work area.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Read work orders and prints.
• Pull and stage materials for department.
• Operate various hand tools, power tools and equipment used to complete carpentry duties including:
  • Circular Saw
  • Router
  • Pneumatic Nail Gun (roofing, framing and finish work)
  • Table saws
  • Hand tools
• Cut lumber for other departments.
• Paint materials for other departments.
• Construct and install picture frame windows
• Assist other departments as needed by productions schedule.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Department manager/Production Mangers
• Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors.
• Must wear personal protective equipment while at the location.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED), required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge / Experience within the Manufactured Homes or Construction industry.
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• Experience with Power tools and hand tools
• Analytical skills, ability to solve problems and/or offer alternative solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends to meet production schedules.

Salary:

• $25 per hour

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or pulling.
• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
• Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Work primarily involves standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
