About the role:

As a Maintenance Officer, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Service, Edgecliff.

St Vincent's Care Services Edgecliff is just 4km east of Sydney's city centre. Our small but homey 39 bed facility is located in a tranquil, leafy suburb within walking distance of public transport.

Things that work for us:

  • Ability to work permanent full-time basis

  • Trade qualifications in carpentry, plumbing or similar desirable

  • Ability to perform maintenance works

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem solve

  • Aged, Health or Community care experienced preferred

  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and sound computer skills

  • Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights and responsibilities and ability to follow directives as per care plan

  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (3) and National Police Certificate

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
