About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Manager, Global Payroll Operations, to lead our global Payroll Operations team supporting the Head of Global Payroll in coordinating overall payroll operations, optimizing processes and driving efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll operations, payroll systems, process improvement, and project management. This role will report to the Head of Global Payroll.

What You'll Do:

  • Support the Head of Global Payroll in managing and coordinating payroll operations and related activities that ensure compliance and timely preparation of U.S. and international payrolls in more than 25 countries and for 8,500+ employees.

  • Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to streamline payroll workflows, reduce processing time, and improve accuracy.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and systems integration to enhance payroll operations, M&A, and drive efficiency gains.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, and Legal to align on payroll objectives, implement best practices, and achieve operational excellence.

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as payroll processing time, error rates, cost savings, and employee satisfaction.

  • Establish and track performance metrics to measure the success of process optimization initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

  • Oversee and enhance Global Payroll's ticket system, ensuring seamless operation.

  • Curate and update payroll-related content on the internal company portal

  • Establish a Global Payroll knowledge base with standard operating procedures, trainings, and essential documentation.

  • Utilize advanced payroll applications to generate insightful reports for payroll processing and audits.

  • Manage other ad hoc projects as deemed necessary.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in payroll operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • CPP required

  • Experience scaling multi-national payroll operations for a publicly traded company.

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of implementing process optimization initiatives and driving operational efficiency.

  • In-depth knowledge of global payroll regulations, SOX and compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Expertise in payroll software systems, data analysis tools, and advanced Excel skills.

  • Solid knowledge of ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and Workday, a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications.
