Job Description:

You as a Service Senior Sales Specialist will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Baghdad, Iraq. You will be in Grid Automation Service Team as providing Service Solutions for substation automation systems, control and protection, cyber security, communication and telecontrol technology. The team is highly motivated and with strong customer and service-oriented approach. It is our ambition to provide high quality service, delivering solutions aligned with customers' needs. We are looking for you as a new member of our service team.

Your responsibilities: 

  • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and knowledge of customer needs.
  • Keeping the organization informed about new trends, influences and players in the market.
  • Performing sales activities to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. Collaborate with all related local Hitachi Energy Business Units to ensure alignment and collaboration. 
  • Actively promote services and solutions in the market, with participation at trade fairs, exhibitions, customer meetings, and with telephone contacts.   
  • Supporting customer by acting as a source of information and/or door opener for the customer into the organization. 
  • Ensuring that inputs and feedback from customers are forwarded to the appropriate individual or unit within the organization, to secure a reply to customer. 
  • Elaborating and providing clear responses and suggestions to the customer on possible technical solutions.  
  • Proactively prepare sales forecast and sales planning.  
  • Producing the required documentation and support material required. 
  • Providing all inputs needed to prepare tenders.
  • Monitoring and keep the sales opportunities updated.

Your background: 

  • A Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with strong technical background, ideally with emphasis in power engineering. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of substation automation, control and protection, cyber security, communication and/or telecontrol technology. 
  • Ideally previous experience in Service and Sales. 
  • Proven track record from working either with electrical utility, system integrator, or technical consultant.  
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
