ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
We are seeking a motivated and driven educator to join our dynamic and passionate education team at 15 hrs per fortnight.
St Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy provides excellence in maternity care to women with normal to high risk pregnancies in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. We have nine birth suites, 30 single postnatal/antenatal rooms, a Satellite Maternity Unit at the Park Hyatt, 12 cot Special Care Nursery with nasal CPAP and high flow oxygen therapy and a perinatal wellbeing midwife.
Responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to);
Acting as a mentor, preceptor & resource for staff & learners, including undergraduates, graduates and post graduate students
Identifying and facilitating In-service education.
Development and delivery of learning packages/programs that support the ongoing professional development of the midwifery/SCN workforce

ABOUT YOU:
Your skills will include:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
A minimum of 12 months recent experience in a clinical, hospital based midwifery education role
Education qualification (or working towards) will be highly regarded
