Seeking enthusiastic EN's to join our team in the cardiac ward to manage patients after post open heart surgery, Pacemaker, angiogram and heart failure. It is an excellent opportunity to expand your experience in a supportive environment.

You will be working on a rotating roster.
 

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as Enrolled Nurse in our Cardiac ward at our Fitzroy campus.

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing assessments, and providing wound care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure quality patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this role:

• You will be a positive and effective team member who brings excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will be organised, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities. 
• Your Skills and Experience
• Current registration with AHPRA (medication endorsed)
• Experience as an Enrolled Nurse working in an acute care setting
• At least 2 years of experience in CARDIAC or surgical wards is essential.
