What you will do:

The Senior Medical Education Associate operates autonomously, leading innovative clinical education initiatives to address gaps and share new learnings in our customers/market clinical knowledge. This involves strategizing, building, and executing customer education events across various formats, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid setups.  Including post-event reviews, summarizing learnings, and sharing those learnings with our Marketing, Sales, and SLT teams.  Creation and maintaining dashboards of our clinical activities and assisting with automating our medical education data and processes, liaising and collaborating with our EC global teams to share best practices and content across our global locations and learning and networking with the Medical Education (MedEd) functions of the other 21 Stryker divisions. 

You will

  • Assume overall responsibility and coordination for designated education events within their scope, which may necessitate travel and work beyond standard hours.

  • Proactively deliver customer education programs across diverse segments, such as Fire/EMS, Hospital, LE+, and other community call points.

  • Develop and proposes customer education objectives and activity and budget forecasts. Regularly submits outcomes (and learnings) and reports to the Manager of Medical Education and the Leadership Team.

  • Collaborate closely with MedEd /Marketing Managers to establish vital relationships with consultants and recommend suitable healthcare professionals in alignment with key objectives.

  • Cultivate relationships with cross-functional teams, other Stryker divisions, and educational entities to ensure seamless execution of education events for end customers. This includes scheduling staff, managing equipment logistics, coordinating onsite events, and conducting education and post-event follow-ups.  Includes sharing and keeping abreast of the best practices in adult learning. 

  • Collaborate with the Professional Affairs Lead to ensure all necessary documentation is in place before proceeding with any contractual or grant/donation request with an education component.  Sharing our annual MedEd plans so that any new contracts, renewals, or changes can be made in advance of the events scheduled. 

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant compliance/transparency regulations and ensures adherence during event participation.

  • Demonstrate attention to detail and adeptly handles challenging conversations and complex issues both verbally and in writing.

  • Provide prompt responses to internal and external customers, leveraging expert knowledge of procedures and guidelines related to interaction and support.

  • Strive for continuous improvement and serves as a Medical division representative to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support customer-facing clinical training and resources, including online content development and written materials.

  • See projects and educational events through to completion, including post-event follow-up through closed-loop communication and content delivery.

  • Consistently assess procedures, collect, consolidate, and present medical education data to identify trends and discrepancies, offering recommendations for enhancing efficiency where opportunities arise.

What you need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), completion of a paramedic training program, or B.S. in related biology/science area with active clinical licensure.

  • 2 years of clinical experience in a clinical environment, preferably in a cardiac, critical care, or emergency care setting, is required.

  • 2 years of marketing and/or sales training in the medical device industry preferred.

  • Experience developing training content delivered via multiple media: classroom, online, self-study, podcasts, etc.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; superb presentation skills.

  • Able to travel up to 50%

$58,700 - $118,600  salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 50%
