Manages GMS Short Lead Time implementation
Manages activities to achieve production sequence
Manages material flow activity
Manages Material Metrics (BPD)
Supervises hourly employees
Coordinates material department mobile equipment / batteries / maintenance
Support container flow / packaging / sequencing
Coordinates Salvage / rework activity
Administers Outbound Transmissions Shipping
Executes MVB material process
Support delivery of service part requests and schedules
Support department planning activities
Interfaces with launch support teams
Support coordination of engineering changes, breakpoints, and PTR’s
Oversees Material Layered Audits
Supports special build events
Additional Job Description
-Industrial, Mechanical or Systems Engineer, Business, Accounting or Similar Bachelor Degree.
-English Conversational
Knowledge:
· Material handling operations
· Production operations
· Inventory control and management
· Personal computer skills
· Logistic Basics.
Alarms, Plant layout, Lean manufacturing, GSC-BOO and BOP, Pull systems, EPS, ECPS, Dolly exchange, Kitting, Line balance System for indirect hourly, SMLBS).
