What you'll be doing:

  • As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for performing operational investigations for requirements validation, facilitating the planning and execution of end-to-end testing as part of a team dedicated to implementing innovative products.
  • You will assist in any live product issues and drive solutions either internally or with our partners.
  • You will work with internal and external stakeholders including Technology, Finance, Supplier Partnerships, Service Delivery, Client Technical Services, and others.
  • This role is critical to Egencia’s future growth and we’re looking for outstanding and seasoned candidates.
  • You will have a direct impact on how we service our users.
  • Partner with the Product Managers and relevant stakeholders to develop a deep end-to-end (E2E) understanding of a traveler journey and processes used by Traveler Consultants (TCs) globally.
  • Contribute to product requirements validation: analyze GDS host and web services functionality as it relates to NDC functionality using GDS host interfaces, testing tools, API logs, internal and external documentation, and interactions with GDS contacts.
  • Document and share findings with colleagues, customers, and partners of Egencia.
  • Assist with the creation of training materials for NDC and conduct training via recordings, videoconferencing, or in person as needed.
  • Build risk-based test scenarios to ensure product, process deployments are released with the highest quality to mitigate users’ disruption (customers and TCs).
  • Facilitate the planning and execution of end-to-end user acceptance testing (customers and TCs experiences).
  • Create and/or analyze PNRs, troubleshoot bugs, test through the Egencia eco-system to understand impacts, documenting and sharing findings. Create incidents in GDS support portals or Jira as needed, maintain and update the issue log for all “owned” issues by providing updates on a weekly basis.
  • Respond to technical and functional questions regarding NDC processes.
  • Produce reports or dashboards on your progress for use by Product Managers or other stakeholders.

What we need from you:

  • High proficiency and detailed understanding of the TC environment including GDS consoles and web services, with proficiency in either Amadeus or Sabre, or both.
  • Solid understanding of PNR touchpoints at a corporate Travel Management Company (TMC)
  • Experience creating effective technical and functional documentation for all audiences.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple functions and working with developers, operations, subject matter experts, technical resources, and support teams.
  • Ability to understand both the high-level goal as well as granular detail.
  • Ability to dig into complicated details until all facts are understood and requirements are documented.
  • Team player that is willing to share knowledge with all team members.
  • High motivation and enthusiasm to deliver results.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Flexibility to support global projects across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively, highly organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills and can clearly articulate key points and summarize information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Trello is a plus.
