This is a hybrid role that requires 2 to 3 days on site each week.
Join our exceptional billing team on a journey toward financial health! As a vital member, you'll process patient and insurance payments to maintain timely cash flow and accurate account balances. Assist with onsite/hybrid duties with paper claims processes. Support remote billing team members by assisting with needs for printing and mailing claims and appeals to carriers. You will investigate and resolves payment discrepancies and prepare appropriate balancing documents. Your expertise in payer regulations will be crucial in optimizing reimbursements and maintaining seamless cash flow. We are seeking someone with positive and uplifting energy to join our team. Essential Functions
Processes patient and insurance payments to maintain timely cash flow and accurate account balances. Meets audit expectations, as determined by department.
Analyzes assigned accounts receivable portfolio and take appropriate action to ensure compliant, timely claim resolution.
Ensures payer and governmental agency regulatory and compliance requirements are consistently followed and applied.
Demonstrate professional communication, including verbal and written.
Adheres to department and role-specific policies, procedures and key-metrics.
