PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
The Utility Team member will provide support to the Morristown Distribution facility by performing duties in all areas of the plant as needed for absenteeism or additional support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND DAILY TASKS
- Checks in with Lumber Area Coordinator at the start of shift for assigned area for the shift.
- Lead by example in attendance, safety, and performance when working with each Team.
- Understand urgency and set an adequate production pace to meet required schedules.
- Be able to learn and perform the tasks of positions in the following areas/departments:
- Shipping and receiving
- Sawmill
- Lamination
- Profiler
- Lumber receiving/shipping.
- Windows
- Quality Assurance
- Inventory Control
- Janitorial service
- Sit-down and Stand-up forklifts as needed.
- Performs other duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College education preferred.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instruction.
- Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills required.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
