We are part of the St Vincent’s Health Australia group (SVHA), Australia's largest not-for-profit health and aged care provider. St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane is a private Catholic not-for-profit hospital specialising in healthcare for people with chronic, complex, and multiple health needs. Our services include general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, pain management and palliative care.

ABOUT THE POSITION:


Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane team as Physiotherapist in our Allied Health department at our spectacular Kangaroo Point location.

We also have an exciting new Pilot project for Physiotherapists to work across both Hospital and Care Services teams. We are looking for both Casual and part time fixed term staff for these new roles. Please indicate your preference in your application.

A snapshot of your duties would include:

Care Services Duties:

  • Mobility assessments and equipment prescription and required documentation of aged care residents.

  • Exercise group prescription and facilitation

  • Individual exercise prescription as required.

  • Facility staff manual handling training

  • Participation in team meetings as required

Hospital Duties:

  • Assessment and treatment of adult Rehabilitation, Medical, Palliative Care and Pain Management patient groups including appropriate documentation and discharge planning.

  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary team to provide excellence in physiotherapy care of our patients.

  • Participation in team meetings and in-services


ABOUT YOU:


Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a physiotherapist in a clinical or hospital setting

  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Experience working in clinical areas such as rehabilitation, medical, surgical or palliative care would be highly desirable.

  • Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekdays and weekends.


REMUNERATION:


The position of Physiotherapist, in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Grade AHL2-AHL3 with a base remuneration of $41.17 - $58.26 + superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
