Job Description:

Position Title: Recovery at Work Coordinator
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours per week: 38 Hours Per Week
Position Grade: Health Service Manager Level 2
Salary: $106,142.00 - $125,241.00 base salary per annum

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic Safety, Wellbeing and Recovery team to respond to work and non-work-related ill-health and to optimise worker wellbeing across the Network.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Recovery at Work Coordinator with extensive experience in injury management, recovery and return to work and a passion for helping others.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia
2. Knowledge in workers compensation, injury management legislation and medical terminology and experience in the development and implementation of best practice recovery at work programs
3. Qualifications, registration and professional membership relevant to this position including Return to Work Coordinator certificate. Health/allied health qualifications are highly regarded but not essential. Current Driver’s Licence is required.
4. High level communication, influencing and negotiation skills, demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and the ability to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships
5. Strong customer focus with a highly developed ability to engage, facilitate change, and improve processes and systems to achieve measurable outcomes.
6. Change and project management: Effective organisational skills and ability to build capability and successfully implement change initiatives and projects within time, cost and quality parameters
7. Sound analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret recovery at work and claims performance and prepare articulate, informative and insightful reports aligned to stakeholder needs
8. Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
