Work Flexibility: Hybrid or Onsite

1st Shift:  Mon - Fri  8am – 5pm

Hybrid, 1 day/week onsite or as needed

What you will do:

As an Intercompany Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate inbound and outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products.

  • Act as the central point of contact for all intercompany shipments, facilitating communication between various internal stakeholders and ensuring the seamless coordination of shipping activities
  • Maintain proactive, accurate, and timely communication with internal partners across the globe, ensuring all parties are informed about shipment statuses, potential delays, and any issues that may arise
  • Efficiently process intercompany orders, verifying order details, coordinating with relevant departments, and ensuring timely and accurate entry into the system
  • Arrange cost-effective transportation solutions that align with customer requirements, optimizing routes, and selecting reliable carriers to ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare and distribute comprehensive export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and other necessary paperwork to ensure compliance with international shipping standards and International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations
  • Manage the processing of miscellaneous export shipments, handling special requests, and ensuring that all shipments are correctly documented and compliant with export regulations
  • Process returns and customer credits promptly and accurately, coordinating with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve logistics issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence and improve overall process efficiency
  • Assist in preparing reports as required, gathering, and analyzing data to provide insights into logistics performance, identify trends, and support decision-making processes
  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends, as needed

What you need:

  • High school diploma or GED, Required
  • Two (2) years relevant experience, Required
  • Experience in Supply Chain / Logistics, Preferred
  • You must live within commuting distance to our Portage, MI office. You will need to be in the office 1+ day per week, but you will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.
