We are responsible for the end-to-end digital and physical Guest experience for all technology & digital-led initiatives across the Attractions & Entertainment, Food & Beverage, Resorts & Transportation and Merchandise lines of business as well as other initiatives including MyDisneyExperience and Hey, Disney!

The Manager of Strategy & Operations plays a key role in the Parks Commercial Platforms team and contributes to shaping its future. Disney Experiences brings Disney's legendary stories to life for guests and consumers worldwide. In this segment, we support multiple business lines such as toys, games, publishing, theme parks, cruise ships, resort hotels, and more. In this position, you will work closely with the Vice President to drive the organization's strategy, coordinate critical initiatives, and lead the team's operational schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement & bring about strategic, operational, and cultural agendas calling for change.
  • May lead strategic technology and non-technology initiatives from conceptualization to execution.
  • Developing and delivering presentations, streamlining workflows and processes, ensuring alignment and coordination within their org and across the broader T&D segment
  • Growing the leader's reach while reducing unnecessary burden.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of work – strategic initiatives, technology projects, organization & operational initiatives.
  • Proactively coordinates with other strategy & operations leads across T&D Segment.
  • Act as critical point of contact to ensure key processes and initiatives are aligned. This includes partnerships with technology finance, vendor management offices, resource management, human resources, sourcing, and other departments, as needed.
  • Produce content, templates, and a repository of story-telling components for executive-level presentations, documentation, and communications.
  • Prepare technical presentations & updates for internal and external audiences.
  • Act as a proxy of the leader, able to cascade consistent messaging and vision to the different teams.
  • Develop and lead workforce strategy based on current product and platform skills needs and future technology trends.
  • Be value-additive to a leader's vision through critical thinking.
  • Lead management of the respective organization – onboarding & recruiting, team communication & engagement, space & facilities management, among others.
  • Partner with Portfolio and Finance teams on financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science/Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technology or business leadership roles.
  • Must be a great teammate who is willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done.
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal direction.
  • Expertise in the consumer or business technology industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and comfort in business and technical discussions with senior executives.
  • Experience in establishing relationships and leading through influence.
  • Outstanding strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable working on complex issues without a definitive "right" answer, patient in the face of uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.
